Healthy wrists are crucial for Animal Flow. Our foundation course starts with wrist mobilisation exercises, powerful movements that prepare your hands and wrists for the demands of the practice.
The first step in Animal Flow is activation. These movements are designed to "wake up" the body, improve internal communication, and develop a conscious awareness of your body's connection to the ground.
About this collection
Most people jump into ground-based movement without prepping their wrists, which is why our foundation course starts there. We spend the first few weeks building joint resilience and developing an internal connection with your body before we start linking movements. You aren't just memorizing flows here, you are learning how to move with intent and control.
Animal Flow is not about mimicking animals, it is about learning a technical language of movement. When you train with us, you are following a structured curriculum designed to improve your neuro-muscular coordination and functional strength.
We run this as a progressive 4 and 8-week cohort because learning these patterns takes time. You cannot rush the basics. Our lead instructors, Akshay Sharma and Manohar Palani, break down every movement—from the static Beast and Crab positions to the dynamic Scorpion transitions—so you can build a solid foundation.
