About Mobility & Animal Flow
If you think Animal Flow looks intimidating or just for athletes, let me set the record straight. I started by face-planting more times than I can count while learning, so I structure these sessions to ensure you feel secure, not overwhelmed. We start slow, focusing on your individual range of motion with constant verbal cues for form, ensuring you build confidence before adding speed to your flows.
My approach to Animal Flow and mobility training is rooted in building functional strength that actually translates to your daily life. It is not about looking perfect or hitting a specific pose. It is about waking up your joints, clearing out stiffness, and learning how to move with control.
Why focus on Mobility and Flow?
Many of us spend hours at a desk, which creates tight hips, hunched shoulders, and limited range of motion. Animal Flow is a ground-based movement practice that combines elements of gymnastics, yoga, and calisthenics. It challenges your stability and coordination while you are low to the ground. By the end of a session, you won't just feel 'worked out'—you will feel decompressed and aligned.
What to expect in my sessions:
- Real-time Form Correction: Since we work live over Zoom, I keep a close eye on your movement patterns. If you are struggling with a transition or a specific movement, I give you verbal cues immediately to adjust your form.
- Modifications for Every Level: Whether you are dealing with an old injury, or you are a total beginner, every move has a variation. You never have to push through pain. We adjust the exercise to fit your body, not the other way around.
- Equipment: You only need a yoga mat, a bit of clear floor space, and some determination. Occasionally, we use light dumbbells or blocks to add a strength challenge, but the primary focus is always your body weight.
Who this is for:
This is for women who want a sustainable way to stay active without the high-impact grind. If you are looking to fix your posture, build deep core stability, or just find a way to reset your nervous system after a long day, this practice is for you.
