Winning the 100m gold was just the start. Today, I translate that speed into coaching the next generation of champions on the track.

A proud moment with one of my athletes who broke my former national record in the 100m. The bond between a coach and an athlete is built on shared goals and mutual respect.

A look back at my victory in the 200m at the 1996 Open Nationals. The commentary notes my strength, a result of hard work in the gym, and my passion for competition. This experience shapes how I coach today.

This clip from the 1996 Open Nationals shows my 100m title win. I was focused on performing my best, and that victory was a reflection of the rising standards of Indian athletics at the time.

About My Journey: From Champion to Coach

When you train with me, do not expect a casual gym session. We focus entirely on sprint mechanics—A/B/C skips, arm action, and foot landing. I dissect your run to find energy leaks, whether you are a beginner or a pro. It is tough, focused work, but that is the only way to get faster.

From 1995 to 1998, I was the fastest man in India. That time taught me more than how to run fast; it taught me that speed is a science. You cannot just run hard; you have to run smart. My training is not about guesswork. Whether we are at IIT Delhi or GD Goenka, my sessions are built on the same drill-based approach I used for my national records.

We break down your sprint into specific phases: the start, the drive, and the lift. If your arm action is wrong, your speed suffers. If your foot strike is heavy, you lose energy. I believe in catching them young. Kids today often miss the fundamental athletic development because they focus on general fitness rather than specific form. In my academy, we fix that. You will find hurdles, resistance bands, and video analysis used to correct micro-errors in real-time.

When you train with me, you are not just joining a class. You are entering a system that has produced state-level champions and helped pro cricketers run faster between the wickets. Losing is a lesson, and winning is a habit. If you are serious about performance, come ready to work.
