What Drives Us
At DSSA, it’s about sweat, science, and spirit. We treat every athlete like family, not just a number chasing faster times or longer jumps. For us, training hard is just the start – knowing why and how you move makes all the difference, whether you dream of medals or just want to run your first race.
Training Across All Track & Field Events
I work with sprinters, distance runners, and jumpers. Sprint technique coaching is a big focus, covering events from 60m to 1500m, relays, and those tough 10km cross-country runs. Hurdles get the respect they deserve – we break down every move so you find your rhythm. If jumping is your thing, you’ll see we use plyometric training for jumpers to boost your power and landing.
Smarter, Safer Training
Getting injured sucks. That’s why we start every athlete with a DSSA medical assessment, digging into how your body moves. Our coaches and physios then build customized training plans for athletes, aiming to push you without breaking you. Lots of prehab – think strength before speed.
What Sessions Look Like
You’ll see everything from squats and box jumps to hill sprints and rhythm runs. Speed drills, agility work, and building real endurance – we mix it up, always focusing on technique.
Who Can Join
We train kids (Sub-Juniors, Juniors), adults, total beginners, and serious competitors. Youth track & field development is as important to us as prepping seniors for championship podiums. No matter your level, you’ll find DSSA is for anyone ready to put in the work.

My Story
We’re DSSA, and sports is our heartbeat. Dayanand Shetty started this – ex-national athlete, big believer in giving back. Our ground is home, rain or shine, St. Dominic Savio or Holy Family, you’ll find us training. Lockdown? We went online. Nothing stops us. The best part? Watching kids, teens, and pros hit their stride, break records, and just grow. DSSA isn’t just a place – it’s a family chasing big dreams together.
