About Track and Field Coaching
We’re More Than Just Runners
At Sprinters Sports Club, I see athletes pushing through early mornings, rough patches, and tough workouts. There’s no shortcut - Train insane or remain the same is the vibe here. You might feel like quitting, but I promise, you’ll learn to get up every time you fall. We’re not just a club, we’re like a mad bunch who hype each other up to be faster, stronger, and tougher.
Why We Do What We Do
My approach is simple: Discipline, dedication, and a bit of madness to break your own limits. Every session is ek yuddh apne hi viruddh (a battle against yourself). You compete with yesterday’s version of you, and trust me, it’s not always easy. But yeah, that’s the real win.
Who Can Join
Whether you’re 6 or 50-plus, if daud (running) is in your blood, you’ll fit right in. I run programs for:
- Kids (6-16): All about basics, coordination, and just having fun while learning.
- Competitive Athletes: Juniors and seniors who want medals, not just participation.
- Masters (50+): Age doesn’t matter, breaking records does.
What We Actually Coach
You’ll get hands-on coaching for:
- Sprinting (100m, 200m, 400m)
- Hurdles, jumps (long, triple, high)
- Shot put, javelin
- Strength & conditioning for all events I put a lot of focus on sprint technique training and injury prevention for runners, because more speed means more risk.
How We Train
Sessions run at University Sports Pavilion, Marine Lines. I mix hard work with smart work - biomechanics, circuit drills, all-weather training, and a big dose of SSS (Strength, Speed, Stability). If you’re looking for youth athletics coaching or want to join our masters track programs, you’ll find the grind here, rain or shine.

My Story
We’re Sprinters Sports Club, led by Dr. Ravindra Kumar. For us, training is life, not just a routine. Chhote hon ya bade, daud sabhi ke dil mein hai (young or old, everyone loves to run). We’ve seen kids like Keona grow from tiny runners to national medalists, and our Masters Athletes smashing gold at 50+. Rain or shine, we’re here—celebrating wins, grinding together. Our team’s not just athletes, we’re family. Even at big events, you’ll see our coaches as technical officials. It’s always you vs you here.
