On these mats, everyone starts equal. I see martial arts as more than fighting - it's where I find balance, whether life's good or messy. Feeling happy, low, or just lost? The mat never judges, just helps you reset.
We’re not just a gym at Crosstrain Fight Club. I call it a tribe because we’re in this together, pushing each other every day. “Iron sharpens iron” isn’t just a saying here - it’s how we live. We celebrate every win, from your first stripe to standing on a podium. Respect and hustle bring us together, no matter your background.
Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is ground fighting, where technique beats size. I always tell folks, Rato mat yaar, cheezein samjho bas (Don’t just memorize, understand the moves). We do both Gi vs No-Gi grappling. In Gi, it’s all about grips and strategy. No-Gi is faster, more wrestling, and great for self-defense or MMA.
Getting a belt here isn’t quick. BJJ belt progression takes time - a blue belt? Maybe 2-3 years minimum. Brown belt? Could be a decade. Every promotion is earned and celebrated, sometimes with the dreaded “gauntlet” (yes, it hurts, but it’s tradition).
If you want to compete, we’ve got a strong team that hits major tournaments. For newbies, I run fundamentals classes so you’re not lost. Classes start with warm-ups, technique demos, and drilling. We always end with live rolling - testing your skills in real time.
Ready to roll? Just step on the mat.
