Concept-Based Martial Arts Coaching & Philosophy
We don't just teach you moves. We teach you to understand the logic behind every strike, takedown, and submission, so your technique becomes second nature.
I always say, the mat is the great equalizer. Whether you're happy, sad, or confused, come and roll. It’s a form of meditation that centers you, no matter what’s happening in your life. On these mats, we are all the same.
My coaching philosophy is simple: *Rato mat yaar, cheezein samjho bas*. Don't just memorize moves, understand the concepts behind them. Here I am breaking down the 'why' after a Muay Thai sparring session so the learning sticks.
About Coaching & Philosophy
When you are drilling a takedown or learning to block a kick, you shouldn't just be going through the motions. We stop the session to explain the timing and the purpose so that when you are live sparring, you are reacting instinctively rather than searching for steps. Rato mat yaar—don’t just memorize, understand the concepts. This is how you build a fight game that actually holds up under pressure.
Martial arts is often treated like a list of instructions, but that approach falls apart the moment you step onto the mat. At Crosstrain, our philosophy is simple: we prioritize understanding over repetition. Whether you are training for MMA, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, or Muay Thai, the goal is to develop a deep grasp of the mechanics so you can apply them in any situation.
We see the mat as the great equalizer. It does not matter what you do for a living or how much money you have in the bank. When you are rolling, it is just you, your opponent, and the technique. It is a form of meditation that centers you, whether you are having a great day or a rough one. We have built a tribe here that celebrates every win, from your first stripe to tournament podiums.
Our instructors operate under the belief that iron sharpens iron. We use climate-controlled spaces with imported Fuji mats, ensuring you are training in a safe environment. But the real difference is in the coaching. In our fundamental classes, we break down the 'why'—why a specific grip works, why your posture matters, and how to stay calm when you are tired. We run classes in Noida, Sainik Farm, and Faridabad, maintaining the same standard of technical coaching across all locations. If you are a beginner, do not worry about your fitness level. Everyone starts at the same place. Just step on the mat, listen, and learn.
Crosstrain Fight Club
We built this space as a sanctuary, not just a gym. We are a tribe that pushes each other to be better on and off the mats, and we want you to feel that same support from day one.
