Aerial Yoga for Deep Relaxation and Calm
Forget the daily grind and step into our hammocks. In our Rajouri Garden studio, we use aerial yoga to help you stretch, hang, and float your stress away.
We've booked a one-way ticket to Cloud Nine, aerial yoga edition. This video shows the pure bliss of being cocooned in the hammock, gently stretching, and finding a moment of complete tranquility away from the world.
Finding your center while suspended in the air. This floating prayer squat is a grounding pose that encourages mindfulness and stability, even when you're off the ground. It's a perfect blend of effort and ease.
About Zen Moments: Float & Relax
The hammocks are more than just a prop, they are a powerful tool for spinal decompression and deep stretching. When you go into those inversions, you are literally letting gravity do the work to release tension in your back, which feels like absolute magic after a long day of sitting at a desk. We focus on 'Floating Savasana' at the end of every class, where you cocoon yourself in the fabric to find a level of quiet that you just don't get on a standard floor mat.
Why We Love the Hammock
Aerial yoga, or 'anti-gravity' yoga, isn't just about the cool photos you see on social media. It is about how your body feels once you are suspended.
The Benefits of Floating:
- Spinal Decompression: Hanging upside down helps create space between your vertebrae. It is the best antidote for the 'tech-neck' we all develop from staring at screens.
- Deep Flexibility: Because the hammock supports your weight, you can move deeper into stretches like splits or backbends without putting too much strain on your joints.
- Mental Reset: There is something about being off the ground that forces your brain to focus entirely on the present moment. It is the easiest way to switch off the constant chatter in your head.
What Happens in a Session?
We keep our batches small, usually 8 to 10 people, to make sure everyone feels safe and supported. Whether you are a beginner scared of falling or someone who wants to master drops and flows, we meet you where you are. We use high-strength, sanitized nylon tricot hammocks in every session, so you don't need to worry about the gear.
If you are worried about not being 'fit enough' or 'flexible enough', let us stop you right there. We see beginners every single week. The first session might feel a bit intimidating, but by the end of the class, most people are already planning their next visit.
Come by our Rajouri Garden studio, leave your shoes in the cubbies, and let’s fly together. Yeh yoga ka class nahi, safar hai—a journey to yourself.
