Advanced Yoga Teacher Training and Certification
Step into a practice where anatomy meets tradition. Whether you are building your personal foundation or training to become a professional instructor, our program prioritizes alignment, safety, and deep understanding.
As your teacher, I am here to help you explore the depths of your yoga sadhana. This is a partnership where we use tools like the Iyengar chair to safely unlock advanced postures, such as this deep supported backbend, ensuring you can go one level further in your practice with confidence.
Life, like yoga, is all about balance. Here, we demonstrate a partner handstand and split combination, a testament to the trust, strength, and connection we build in our advanced training. It’s a beautiful expression of what’s possible when we support each other.
"Yogah Karmasu Kaushalam" means yoga is skill in action. This principle is at the heart of our training, as demonstrated by this challenging arm balance, Eka Pada Koundinyasana II, performed using a chair for support. We teach you to build the core strength and focus required for such advanced asanas.
In our teacher training, I provide hands-on adjustments to help you find the correct alignment and deepen your postures safely. Here, I am assisting a student in Rajakapotasana (King Pigeon Pose) using a strap to gently open the shoulders and deepen the backbend.
Achieving the full front split, or Hanumanasana, is a common goal, and regular, focused practice is the key. In our advanced batches, we provide personalized guidance and use props like blocks to support your journey, helping you open your hips and lengthen your hamstrings progressively.
The headstand, or Shirshasana, is known as the king of asanas for its incredible benefits. In our training, we break down the technique step by step, ensuring you build the necessary core and shoulder strength to practice this powerful inversion with stability and grace.
This video captures the essence of a live advanced yoga session at our studio. You can hear the detailed, direct instructions I provide for alignment and breath, ensuring every student, even in a group setting, understands the nuances of each posture and can practice safely and effectively.
About Featured
In our training programs, you will not find generic flows. We emphasize the science of anatomy and the mechanics of movement, using props like Iyengar rope walls and wooden blocks to ensure every posture is safe and anatomically correct for your specific body. This approach helps you move past mere aesthetics, allowing you to master the 'why' behind each asana so you can guide others with total confidence.
Deepen Your Practice and Professional Reach
At Ayukshema Yoga Studio, we believe yoga is for the willing, not just the flexible. Our teacher training courses are designed to take you from a practitioner to an internationally certified guide. We focus on the core principles of Hatha Yoga and the disciplined structures of Ashtanga Vinyasa, ensuring you develop a well-rounded skill set.
The Science of Alignment
We prioritize injury prevention and geometric precision. Using the Iyengar method, we incorporate chairs, bolsters, and ropes to unlock advanced postures safely. You will learn to perform complex asanas like inversions and backbends with structural integrity, supported by a curriculum that covers musculoskeletal anatomy and nervous system health.
Certification Path
- RYT-200 Foundation: A comprehensive journey into the basics of Hatha and the Primary Series of Ashtanga. This course prepares you for global recognition through Yoga Alliance USA.
- RYT-300 Advanced: Designed for those who want to specialize. We dive into therapeutic yoga, managing conditions like PCOS and spinal pain, and the art of hands-on adjustment.
Why Train With Us
Our batches are kept small, typically 8-12 students, to ensure you receive direct feedback during every session. You leave our studio not just with a certificate, but with the practical ability to lead classes that heal, strengthen, and transform. Join our Janakpuri studio for a practice that unites body, mind, and breath.
Bharti
I am Dr. Bharti, and at Ayukshema, I treat yoga as a science. I do not believe in quick fixes or perfect poses on day one; I believe in showing up. My team and I focus on the anatomy behind every asana, ensuring you understand the mechanics before you attempt the full expression.
