200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training in Paschim Vihar
Yoga is a journey from the mat to the classroom. This is a look at how we transform dedicated practitioners into confident, certified yoga teachers through hands-on guidance and deep, traditional practice.
This is the moment all the hard work leads to. I am proud to present a new, certified yoga teacher with her Yoga Alliance certificate. This is the goal of our journey together.
In my morning yoga class, I focus on giving personal attention to each student. Here, I am helping a student with alignment in Virabhadrasana III to ensure they build strength safely.
My own 'asana abhyas' or practice is my foundation. Here in the park, I flow through several postures including arm balances and deep stretches like Natarajasana. This is the level of dedication I bring to my teaching.
Yoga is also about connection and community. Here, my students and I form a 'Shiv Mudra', creating a beautiful shape together that shows our unity and shared energy.
This is what true progress looks like. After much practice and determination, my student finally achieves Sirsasana, the headstand. Remember my words, never ever give up on your goals.
The end of a class is as important as the beginning. I guide my students through Savasana, or Corpse Pose, helping them to focus on their natural breath and find deep relaxation.
The Surya Namaskar, or Sun Salutation, is a core part of our practice. This video shows a 17 step Vinyasa flow variation that builds heat, strength, and focus in the body.
Partner work helps build trust and allows for deeper expressions of a pose. Here, I am assisting a student in a variation of Natarajasana, the Lord of the Dance Pose, to improve her balance and flexibility.
About Featured
Choosing a teacher training course is about more than just the certification. It is about the hours spent on the mat learning how to adjust, cue, and guide others safely. In my Paschim Vihar studio, we limit our batches to 5 to 10 students, ensuring I can personally work with your alignment and teaching cues until you are truly ready to lead a class yourself.
Our 200-hour Yoga Alliance teacher training is not about rushing through poses. It is about building a foundation that stays with you. We cover the core of Hatha and Vinyasa, but we also spend significant time on anatomy, teaching methodology, and the old-school philosophies that actually help people in their daily lives.
Whether you join us for in-person sessions at our Paschim Vihar studio or choose our online program, the curriculum is the same. I focus heavily on verbal cues and physical adjustments. You will learn how to 'balance banao' (create balance) in a pose and help your future students avoid injuries. If you are struggling with a headstand or just want to perfect your Surya Namaskar flow, we break it down step-by-step.
Why train with us?
- Practical Focus: We prioritize teaching skills. You will practice how to command a room, give clear instructions, and hold space for others.
- Small Batches: We keep cohorts small, which means you get direct feedback, not just a lecture.
- Certification: Our course is Yoga Alliance certified, allowing you to teach professionally anywhere in the world.
- Language: We teach in a mix of English and Hindi, preparing you for real-world scenarios where you need to communicate clearly with students from all backgrounds.
This training is for those who are serious about their practice. Expect some tough days, but expect to walk out feeling lighter and more prepared to share your knowledge.
