Yoga for Schools & Community Wellness Programs
I bring the healing power of yoga and mindfulness to schools and community centers. My sessions are designed to help children improve focus, manage academic stress, and build physical strength through joyful, simple practices.

About Yoga in Schools & Community Outreach
In our school wellness programs, we do not just teach static poses. For example, during our laughter yoga sessions, I see shy children suddenly open up and release academic anxiety. We combine simple asanas with deep breathing techniques like Anulom Vilom, helping students find a rare moment of quiet in their busy, screen-filled days.
My goal is simple: making holistic wellness accessible to every child, whether they are in a government school in Jahangir Puri or a private play school in Punjabi Bagh.
I structure these programs to fit into a school environment, requiring minimal equipment so we can practice anywhere from a classroom to a park. We focus on 'Pehla sukh nirogi kaya', teaching kids that a healthy body is the first step toward happiness.
What we cover in these sessions:
- Stress Management for Students: Using Laughter Yoga and simple meditation to burst anxiety before exams.
- Posture Correction: Addressing hunching issues caused by long hours of sitting and using digital devices.
- Mindfulness & Concentration: Introducing Tratak Kriya for better focus and eyesight, which is essential for academic performance.
- Physical Foundation: Surya Namaskar and basic asanas to improve flexibility and physical growth.
I have seen how even a short 45-minute session can change the energy of a classroom. By connecting with their breath at a young age, children learn a tool that will serve them for life. If you represent an NGO, school, or community group, I am happy to design a program that fits your specific needs. Har Har Mahadev.
