Yoga Classes and Wellness Activities for Kids
Yoga is about more than just poses. Here, I create a space where children build strength, improve focus, and develop confidence through movement and play.
This is the heart of what I do. In my kids' yoga classes, we focus on building strength and confidence with a *haste hue chehra* (a smiling face). Watch as these young yogis practice everything from calming meditation poses to playful asanas that improve their balance and focus.
My Yogratna Summer Camp is all about *maza* and *masti*. This flyer gives you a glimpse of all the activities I plan, from yoga and dance to art and flameless cooking. It’s a complete wellness experience designed to make summer holidays creative and fun for kids aged 4 to 14.
Who says yoga can't be cool? Our Aqua Yoga sessions are a huge hit, especially during the summer. Practicing asanas in the water is a unique experience that helps improve flexibility and balance with very low impact, and it’s always full of laughter.
Fitness is never boring here. I mix our yoga sessions with fun team-building games that teach kids coordination and teamwork. It’s a great way for them to make new friends and learn that being active can be the best part of their day.
Yoga is best practiced together. Here is a glimpse of our International Yoga Day celebration at a local park in Yamuna Vihar. It shows our wonderful community of children and adults coming together to practice in nature.
I was honored when a news channel visited my Yamuna Vihar studio to talk about the benefits of yoga. It was a proud moment to share how this practice helps people in our community, and some of my students even shared their own positive experiences.

At Yogratna, I believe that fitness should be fun, especially for children. Whether it is through my structured weekend foundation batches or the weekday core program, the goal remains the same: building a strong foundation for both body and mind.
My studio in Yamuna Vihar and West Jyoti Nagar is designed to be a peaceful spot away from the city chaos. I use props like yoga wheels, bricks, and aerial hammocks to help students, especially kids and seniors, go deeper into their practice safely.
What we focus on
- Movement & Play: We mix yoga with team games to teach coordination and teamwork.
- Posture Correction: With growing children, addressing slouching early is key. We incorporate specific drills to improve alignment.
- Mindfulness: It is not just about stretching. Through simple meditation and breathing techniques, we help kids manage their focus and handle their emotions.
- Summer Camps: During May and June, I run a creative wellness module. We move away from the routine to include mandala art, storytelling, and even fun sessions like flameless cooking, ensuring the break is productive yet relaxing.
