A look into the strength, balance, and community we build at our academy. From aerial inversions to partner acro flows, this is how we practice.
We build strength not just in our bodies, but in our bonds. This group acro yoga pose is a beautiful display of trust, balance, and the collective energy that makes our community so strong.
Aerial yoga allows you to explore postures you never thought possible. Here, a student demonstrates a graceful split, using the hammock for support to deepen the stretch and build incredible flexibility and core control.
My life's story is deeply connected to my yoga journey. In this conversation with DD News, I share my origins, the inspiration I found in Swami Vivekananda's teachings, and how personal challenges led me to this path of service.
A strong foundation is key to all advanced practice. This handstand, or Adho Mukha Vrksasana, is a powerful inversion that builds upper body strength, improves circulation, and requires complete focus of the mind.
In our classes, we are more than just individuals on a mat; we are a circle of support. This formation for Balasana, or Child's Pose, represents the unity and shared intention we bring to our practice.
Personal guidance is at the core of my teaching philosophy. Here, I am assisting a student to safely achieve her fullest expression in a standing leg stretch, proving that with the right support, age is no barrier to flexibility.
The yoga wheel is a wonderful friend for opening the heart and spine. This synchronized partner sequence shows how we use props to support each other in advanced backbends and inversions like the Scorpion Pose.
Yoga for children should be joyful and build confidence. Our little champs learn coordination, flexibility, and focus through playful movements like the Wheel Pose, or Chakrasana, in a safe and encouraging environment.
About Featured
It is not just about the final pose. Whether we are using silk hammocks for aerial decompression or yoga wheels to open the back, every prop is chosen to help you safely deepen your stretch and improve alignment. I am there to assist with your form, ensuring that you build real strength without compromising your safety.
True yoga practice extends beyond the mat. At Arya Power Yoga Academy, we view asanas as a gateway to discipline and mental clarity. My teaching approach, whether in a group class or one-on-one, focuses on the eight limbs of yoga. When you see our students practicing acro yoga or complex inversions, understand that this comes from a place of mutual trust and patient progression. We do not rush. We use blocks, straps, and wall ropes because they are friends that facilitate progress, not crutches for weakness.
If you join us, you will find a space where we focus on breathwork alongside physical movement. From our studio in New Rajinder Nagar, Delhi, to our centers in DLF Phase 4 and Sector 57, Gurugram, we maintain a consistent standard. We chant, we breathe, and we work hard to manage the stresses of city life. Come and experience a session where the goal is your holistic well-being, not just a physical workout.
