About Class & Workshop Announcements
My classes are organized into monthly cycles to ensure you build your practice with consistency, whether you join us live from your home or visit the Jayanagar shala. Since alignment is the cornerstone of the Iyengar method, every session focuses on using props like belts, blocks, and chairs to help you understand each posture deeply rather than just pushing for flexibility.
How We Practice
Whether you attend my online sessions or join me in person, the instruction remains true to the Iyengar lineage. In my online batches, I provide real-time feedback, teaching you how to adapt household furniture to replicate the support of studio props. This ensures you can maintain the integrity of the pose regardless of your location.
In-Person Guidance
For those in Bangalore, classes at my Jayanagar shala offer the complete experience. Here, you have access to our full wall-rope system and diverse prop library. We also host intensive workshops at our Ramanagara centre, where we step away from city distractions to focus purely on asana, pranayama, and the philosophy of yoga.
Registration and Consistency
I recommend joining at the start of a monthly cycle to get the most out of the syllabus. Each week has a rotational focus, covering standing poses, forward bends, backbends, and restorative sequences. If you are new to Iyengar Yoga, do not worry about your level of fitness. The practice is designed for everybody, and my role is to guide you through the postures safely.
