Online and Hybrid Yoga Teacher Training Classes
Whether you are at my studio in Gurugram or joining via live video from anywhere in the world, my hybrid sessions ensure you receive the same level of anatomical guidance and precision.
An online private session focusing on posture correction. Even remotely, I can guide you through poses like this supported backbend in Matsyasana (Fish Pose) to help you become more aware of your body's alignment and release tension.
A snapshot from an online yoga workshop I conducted for Krida Bharti. We begin every session, online or offline, with the invocation to Patanjali to set the right intention for our practice.
Through the screen, I guide a student in a seated twist. These online sessions help you build body awareness, making it easier to correct your own posture throughout the day.
Guiding a student through Prasarita Padottanasana (Wide-Legged Forward Bend) in an online class. Clear instruction and visual feedback ensure you can practice even deep forward bends safely and effectively at home.
Using a simple prop like a stick at home can provide excellent feedback for postural alignment. Here, I am guiding a student online to feel the correct position of her thoracic spine.
About Online & Hybrid Learning
Online sessions often fail because teachers cannot physically adjust you. I solve this by teaching you to become your own instructor through precise verbal cues and the strategic use of household props. We focus on specific anatomical markers, such as the tripod of the foot or thoracic spine engagement, so you understand exactly why a posture feels the way it does, even when you are practicing through a screen.
My hybrid teaching model is built to bridge the gap between digital convenience and the rigor of a traditional studio. Whether you are training with me in person at my Sushant Lok studio or logging in via Zoom, the standard of instruction remains unchanged.
The Methodology of Online Learning
Online learning is not about copying a video; it is about learning the mechanics of your own body. In my live sessions, I use a combination of clear verbal cues and specific prop work to ensure your alignment remains safe. If you do not have a studio block, I will guide you on how to use everyday items, like a chair or a belt, to achieve the same therapeutic result. This ensures you build a sustainable practice that you can maintain at home.
Anatomy and Biomechanics
I do not believe in stretching for the sake of it. We break down the biomechanics of every pose. When we work on a backbend, for instance, we discuss the role of the thoracic spine and the psoas, ensuring you are building strength rather than putting stress on your joints. This analytical approach makes the practice safer and more effective, preventing the common injuries that occur when students force their bodies into shapes without understanding the underlying structure.
Certification and Structure
My 200-hour Teacher Training course is available both online and offline, and both are recognized by the Indian Yoga Association and Yoga Alliance. While the medium changes, the curriculum remains consistent: anatomy, philosophy based on Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras, and practical teaching experience. We keep all batches small to ensure that every student receives the same level of attention, whether they are physically present in the room or attending from a different city.
