Meditation and Breathwork Sessions for Mental Calm
If you feel overwhelmed by the pace of life, take a moment to pause. I use traditional pranayama and guided meditation to help you dial down the stress and find some much-needed headspace right here in my Gurugram studio.
A beautiful moment from a group meditation session held in my studio. There is a special energy when we come together to practice mindfulness and turn our attention inward. My classes provide a safe and serene space for you to connect with yourself and a supportive community.
This is a glimpse into a Trataka, or candle-gazing meditation, session at the studio. This powerful technique helps improve focus, concentration, and brings a sense of deep calm to the mind. The soft candlelight creates a peaceful atmosphere perfect for restorative yoga and meditation.
About Meditation & Breathwork for Calm
In our sessions, I often use Trataka—a powerful candle-gazing meditation—to help anchor your attention when the mind is racing. It is a simple but incredibly effective way to move from scattered thoughts to a state of focus, helping you decompress and find a genuine sense of clarity after a long, draining day.
Finding Stillness in the Noise
Meditation isn’t about forcing your mind to go blank, and it certainly isn’t about sitting perfectly still for hours. At Anahata, I focus on helping you find a rhythm that works for your unique mental state. If you are struggling with anxiety, racing thoughts, or just general fatigue, we look at where your energy is stuck and use breath as the bridge to move it.
What Happens in a Session?
- Pranayama (Breathwork): We start here. I teach you condition-specific breathing techniques—some to cool you down when you are feeling fiery and agitated, and others to energize you when you are feeling low.
- Trataka (Candle Gazing): This is a beautiful, visual practice that uses a steady flame to train your focus. It helps reset your concentration and calms the nervous system rapidly.
- Yoga Nidra: This is deep, guided relaxation. It is often described as yogic sleep, where I guide you through body scans to release deep-seated tension that you might not even realize you are holding.
Your Path, Your Pace
I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all routines. Whether you are coming in for a private diagnostic session where we analyze your stress triggers, or you are joining a small group workshop, the focus is entirely on your comfort. My studio in Gurugram is a safe, quiet harbor where you can leave the to-do lists at the door and actually breathe. You don't need any prior experience to start—just bring yourself exactly as you are.
