About Mindfulness, Pranayama & Meditation
We don't just teach you to breathe. In our Trataka (candle gazing) sessions, we use specific visual focus techniques to sharpen concentration and soothe the nervous system. It is about moving from external chaos to internal stillness—and yes, it is harder than it looks, but we guide you through every step of the process.
Many people come to us thinking meditation is about forcing the mind to go blank. It is not. At Ayukshema, we approach it as a training of the mind, similar to how you train your muscles. We combine Pranayama—like Anulom Vilom and Kapalbhati—to regulate your prana (energy) and reduce cortisol levels effectively.
Our studio environment in Janakpuri is designed to help you disconnect. Whether you are dealing with chronic stress, anxiety, or sleep issues, we introduce specific sequences that actually work. For sleep, we use restorative poses like Shavasana and Balasana to relax the body. For anxiety, we focus on grounding asanas that soothe the nerves. If you are struggling with 'mental clutter', our Chakra healing and mantra chanting sessions provide a structured way to balance your energy centers and find clarity.
This isn't about being perfect on the mat. It is about showing up, even when you don't feel like it. Aap bas prayaas keejiye—just make the effort. We provide the space, the props, and the guidance. You just bring the willingness.
