Why I Coach Powerlifting
For me, powerlifting is about more than lifting weights. It's a test of your spirit and patience. Sab kuch mehnat ka khel hai (everything is a game of hard work). I don't sugarcoat things - you won't find shortcuts or magic pills here. I came back from injuries that could've ended my career, and I know real victory means fighting back.
My Coaching Style
I train serious athletes who are ready for real discipline. No matter if you’re just starting out or prepping for your next meet, I expect you to listen, put in the work, and never quit. The Delhi heat, the cold mornings - practice doesn't stop. I’ll push you to find your fighting spirit, especially when things get tough.
What We Work On
- Mastering the three lifts: squat, bench, deadlift. We’ll work on technical squat bench deadlift coaching to make you a better lifter.
- I coach for both raw vs equipped powerlifting. Whether you want pure strength or want to learn the technical side of gear, I know both inside out.
- Powerlifting competition prep is a big part of my process - programming, mental toughness, and everything from weigh-ins to your final attempt.
How We Train
- In-person sessions happen at gyms in New Delhi, with hands-on guidance and corrections.
- Online coaching is available no matter where you are. The discipline remains the same.

Main hoon Amit Yadav, India ka strong man, aur powerlifting hi meri jaan hai. 2009 se champion, injuries aayi, par kabhi himmat nahi haari. Bajrangbali ki kripa se, dard mein bhi jeeta. Equipped powerlifting test match jaisa lagta hai, classic IPL ki tarah. Gym ke bahar bike ride, pahadon ki shanti bhi pasand hai. Har Har Mahadev.
