In my shala, the group energy is not just about moving together. We practice disciplined alignment. Whether we are doing Sun Salutations or holding a pose, I want you to listen to your breath, not just follow the person next to you. It is about building strength as a collective while staying focused on your own mat.
Practice at Shri Thorat Yogashala is different because we treat the group as a collective of individuals on their own journeys. We keep our batches small to ensure you get the individual corrections you need. We mix Ashtanga, Hatha, and Vinyasa flows, focusing heavily on anatomy and the science of movement. You will find people here working on everything from their first headstand to deep spinal flexibility.
We do not just flow for the sake of sweating. We use Shuddhi Kriyas and Pranayama to ensure your practice cleanses the system.
