About Our PAYoga Family: Connection & Community
When you join us for a retreat, you aren't just a participant—you become part of our family. We spend the days balancing traditional Hatha practice with shared meals and long conversations, ensuring you return home feeling lighter and deeply connected to a community that genuinely cares.
Our retreats are rooted in the Sivananda Hatha tradition, but the true magic happens in the space between the mats. We believe that yoga is a sadhana, a practice for the soul, and when we gather, the shared energy transforms the experience. Whether we are practicing on a deck overlooking the Himalayas in Dharamshala, meditating in the golden dunes of Jaisalmer, or flow-dancing by the beaches in Bali, the focus remains on presence over performance.
What to Expect
Each day is planned to help you unplug from the daily rush. We start with morning Hatha sessions to wake up the body and end the evenings with restorative practices, Pranayama, or group Satsang. You will find that our community is diverse—we welcome everyone from total beginners to seasoned practitioners.
We prioritize connection. You will eat, laugh, and swap stories with us and the rest of the group, building bonds that often last long after the trip ends. This is not about achieving the deepest backbend; it is about finding ānanda, your natural state of joy. If you are looking to deepen your practice while enjoying a mindful, travel-focused community experience, we would love to have you with us.
