About this collection
If you are coming to a class here, know that we do not do 'Instagram yoga.' Expect to work. We use wooden props and focus on Iyengar-style alignment because your body deserves precision, not just movement. Come prepared to sweat, breathe, and actually listen to what your body is saying instead of trying to force it into a shape you saw online.
Our Approach in HSR Layout
Our practice is rooted in the belief that yoga is a lifelong yatra (journey). Unlike commercial studios that treat sessions as a transaction, we view them as a practice of abhyas (consistent effort). We operate out of a non-AC, naturally ventilated space designed to minimize distraction so you can focus entirely on the breathwork and alignment.
What to Expect in Class
Whether you are joining our general membership or a therapeutic program for back pain or thyroid management, the core is the same: alignment over intensity. We use blocks, chairs, and straps to ensure that even if you have stiff joints or previous injuries, you can safely explore the asanas. You will find that our batches are small, limited to 12-15 students, because you deserve personal attention, not just a teacher shouting instructions from the front.
Beyond the Mat
This is a community, not a gym. We incorporate sessions on Pranayama, Trataka (candle gazing) for focus, and philosophical discussions on the Gita.
