Yoga is not about perfect poses; it is about showing up. I create a safe space in Gunjur where every child, regardless of ability, builds strength and finds joy at their own pace.

This is Chinmayee, a student with an extraordinary spirit. She reminds us that yoga isn't about having a "perfect" body; it's about showing up with a full heart and proving that this practice is for everyone.

Here, we use ropes to help Chinmayee safely explore a challenging split variation. Adaptive yoga means finding creative ways to support every student's journey, making every asana a possibility.

In just three weeks, Chinmayee has shown incredible dedication. Her journey is a powerful reminder that yoga is for every body and every soul that chooses to show up on the mat.

Chinmayee shows us that yoga is not about being less or more, it is about being fully you. Here she is, finding her balance and expressing her strength in her own beautiful way.

On my mat, every child is equal. Whether a child has Down syndrome or not, we celebrate ability, not labels. This is a space for pure potential.

Yoga doesn't separate, it unites. Every child belongs in my studio, and every single journey, like Chinmayee's, matters deeply.

A simple truth demonstrated with grace. This is Chinmayee in a beautiful Chakrasana (Wheel Pose), proving that yoga truly belongs to everyone.

About this collection

Parents often ask me if their child can manage, and my answer is always the same: just show up. I adapt every single movement, using props like wall ropes and blocks to turn 'I can't' into 'I did it', ensuring that every student, regardless of physical or cognitive ability, finds their own version of success.

When you walk into my studio on Varthur Main Road, you will see a mix of neurotypical and neurodiverse children practicing side by side. I do not believe in separating students based on labels. Instead, I focus on what each child can do right now, creating a community where ability is celebrated, not analyzed.

My instruction style is straightforward. You will hear me being firm about alignment, but you will also hear me cheering the loudest when a student masters a movement. I use props like wooden bricks, wall ropes, and straps to make challenging asanas safe and accessible. These are not just tools; they are the bridge that allows a student to hold a posture, engage their muscles correctly, and eventually move without assistance.

We focus heavily on mindfulness activities that help children calm down and regulate their focus. Whether it is a student with Down syndrome or someone simply struggling with 'tech-neck' from school, the goal is consistent, patient progress. We work on posture correction, build core strength through game-based sequences, and teach breathing techniques that children can actually use when they feel overwhelmed.

This is not a 'sit still and be quiet' class. We laugh, we play, and sometimes we struggle. If a child needs more time to transition into a pose, they get it. If they need a different variation of a headstand to feel secure, we find it. My job is to guide them, correct them, and ensure that every session builds not just their physical strength, but their confidence.
