Yoga isn't just about touching your toes, it's about how you show up. Whether you are six or sixty, my classes focus on safe alignment, building real strength, and having a good time while we learn.

This is what my yoga class is all about. It’s a space where every child is celebrated for their unique abilities, and we find strength not in perfection, but in the courage to show up and try.

At just six years old, Tapsee shows us what is possible with consistent practice and guidance. I teach children the foundations of inversions like this Tripod to Urdhva Kukkutasana, focusing on body intelligence and safety.

Who needs weights when you have students who trust you completely? This is my kind of strength training, building my Pincha Mayurasana (Forearm Stand) with the joyful weight of my little yogis.

Trust is the first step in any yoga journey. Here, I am introducing Chinmayee to Rope Sheershasana, using props and support to help her feel safe and confident as she explores going upside down.

This is what progress looks like. From needing support and alignment cues in June to finding graceful awareness in her splits by August, Chinmayee’s journey shows the power of patient, mindful practice.

My teaching is direct and hands-on. In this tutorial, I break down a playful transition from Bakasana (Crow Pose) to Astavakrasana, showing students the step-by-step mechanics to build complex arm balances.

The voices of my students, both kids and adults, are the true measure of my work. Listen to them share their stories of transformation, from gaining physical strength to finding new confidence.

This is our tribe. A proud moment on stage after a community performance, celebrating our hard work, our growth, and the joy we find in practicing yoga together.

About Featured

If you are curious about the rope and prop setup you see in these photos, they are not just for show. I use tools like wall ropes and blocks to make complex inversions like Rope Sheershasana accessible for beginners and kids, ensuring your body learns the correct joint mechanics without the risk of injury. It is how we build deep strength and confidence before moving to floor work.
