Yoga is about more than just standing still. At my Ramesh Nagar studio, we help kids grow stronger, taller, and calmer through playful asanas and interactive games.

My "Little Stars" kids' yoga batch is full of energy and smiles. I mix asanas with playful games to help children build strength, focus, and confidence. It's wonderful to see them grow on and off the mat.

A fun flexibility challenge for my young yogis. These activities are designed to make fitness enjoyable, helping them build healthy habits that last a lifetime.

From practicing Padmasana (Lotus Pose) to building back strength with partner work, my kids' classes cover a range of skills. I focus on making yoga accessible and beneficial for their growing bodies and minds.

Who said building strength can't be fun? These playful partner exercises help kids increase their leg and hand strength while learning to work as a team.

Wrapping up our summer camp with smiles and laughter. Games like these are an essential part of my kids' yoga sessions, making learning about their bodies a joyful experience.

The proud moment when my young students receive their certificates after completing the one-month summer yoga session. Their dedication and enthusiasm are truly inspiring.

In my kids' yoga classes, we focus on asanas that help increase flexibility, strength, and even support natural height growth. Here, you can see them practicing stretches and hanging exercises.

Children are natural imitators, so I strive to give them a practice worthy of imitation. Here, I am assisting a young student in Chakrasana (Wheel Pose) to build her back flexibility and confidence.

My little yogis performing Surya Namaskar (Sun Salutation) with focus and grace. It's amazing to see them learn and perform the sequence with such dedication.

Balance, focus, and fun all in a day's stretch. This video captures the dynamic energy of my kids' yoga classes, where every session is a new adventure.

About Yoga for Kids: Little Stars

My approach isn't about rigid routines; it's about making movement natural for growing bodies. I use props like yoga wheels and wall ropes to help children safely build core strength and flexibility while staying fully engaged. Your child won't just learn asanas—they will learn to enjoy being active.

When I started my practice, I realized that children learn best when they are having fun. That is why my 'Little Stars' sessions are designed to move beyond boring exercises. Whether we are performing Surya Namaskar with focus or using partner-based stretching to build teamwork, the goal is always to keep your child excited to return to the mat.

Why focus on kids yoga?

School bags, long hours at desks, and screen time often affect a child’s posture. Our classes include specific drills like wall rope exercises to decompress the spine and encourage natural height growth. We also incorporate simple breathing techniques like Agnisar Kriya and candle gazing (Trataka) to help improve concentration and memory, which is a great benefit for school-going kids.

Safety and fun

Safety is my priority. Every session uses kid-friendly props like bolsters and straps, ensuring that asanas like Chakrasana (Wheel Pose) or Dhanurasana (Bow Pose) are practiced without strain. Most importantly, this is a space where they can be themselves. We laugh, we play games, and we learn to listen to our bodies. If you are looking for a community-based yoga class in Delhi where your child can build healthy habits and boost their confidence, I invite you to join us.

Namaste, I’m Jyoti. Yoga has given me so much, and my goal is to share that same energy with your little ones. We don't just teach asanas; we create a space where kids can play, grow, and build healthy habits that last a lifetime.
