Building advanced strength requires the right technique, not just effort. At my studio, we break down complex inversions and backbends using props and safe alignment, so you can progress without fear of injury.

I believe in breaking down advanced poses like Raja Kapotasana (King Pigeon Pose) step-by-step. In this video, I explain the technique and benefits, from opening the hips and shoulders to improving your overall flexibility.

Exploring strength, balance, and mobility through handstand practice with twisting. Using wall support and straps helps build alignment and core control.

A detailed tutorial on Kaakasana (Crow Pose). I explain how to place your knees, shift your weight, and engage your core to find balance in this empowering arm balance.

A tutorial on Bhujapidasana (Shoulder-Pressing Pose), starting with blocks for support. This pose builds incredible arm, wrist, and shoulder strength.

A step-by-step guide to Shirsh Padangushthaan Asana. This pose increases flexibility, strengthens the legs, and improves digestion and stress relief.

Using a yoga wheel to practice Purna Shalabhasana (Full Locust Pose). The wheel provides support to lift the legs higher and deepen the backbend safely.

Leg balance exercises like Natarajasana (Dancer's Pose) are crucial for improving stability, coordination, and the mind-body connection.

"Haathon ki taaqat ka raaz lagataar abhyaas" (The secret to arm strength is consistent practice). Students using the wall and ropes for handstand preparations.

Assisting a student in Vrishchik Asana (Scorpion Pose). This advanced inversion strengthens the arms, shoulders, and core while improving spinal flexibility.

Every stretch is a step toward strength. This challenging arm and leg balance pose builds resilience and power, one breath at a time.

About Strength, Balance & Advanced Poses

Many people think advanced poses are only for the naturally flexible. That is not true. Whether you are trying your first handstand or deepening a backbend like Raja Kapotasana (King Pigeon Pose), the secret is not just power, it is using the right props—wall ropes, wheels, and blocks—to support your body while it learns. I teach you how to modify every pose so you build real stability and strength before removing the support.

Building Strength the Right Way

Yoga is about steady progress. When we work on advanced poses like Kaakasana (Crow Pose) or Vrishchik Asana (Scorpion Pose), I focus on the 'how' rather than just the final look. My studio in Ramesh Nagar is equipped with Iyengar-style ropes and yoga wheels specifically to help you understand the mechanics of these postures.

Why Props Matter in Inversions

If you have ever tried a handstand and felt your wrists give way or your core sag, it is usually because you are missing the foundation.

  • Wall Support: We use the wall to teach your body where 'straight' actually feels like, helping you stack your shoulders and hips without crashing.
  • Yoga Wheels: These are brilliant for opening up the spine and chest for deep backbends like the full locust pose without straining your lower back.
  • Blocks & Straps: These extend your reach, allowing you to hold deeper stretches in poses like Bhujapidasana until your own flexibility catches up.

My Approach to Advanced Practice

I treat every student differently. If you are struggling with a handstand twist, we do not force it. We go back to shoulder stability drills. We practice the alignment on the floor first. I am there to spot you, adjust your grip, and ensure your breath stays steady.

Remember, advanced practice is not about doing the most difficult thing in the room; it is about doing the right thing for your body, safely. If you want to build this strength, I am here to help you get there, one breath at a time.
