Move beyond the basics with structured, safe techniques. I help you build the strength and stability required for deep backbends, inversions, and challenging balances.

Here I am in Ek Paad Koundinyasana in Rishikesh. This advanced arm balance requires and builds significant core and upper body strength, along with hip flexibility.

Providing hands-on assistance in Natarajasana (Lord of the Dance Pose). My role as a teacher is to help you find stability and depth in challenging balancing poses like this one.

A 55-year-old student working on her standing split with my support. This is a testament to the fact that advanced flexibility is achievable at any age with dedication.

A student moving through a sequence that includes Vajrasana and Paschimottanasana (Seated Forward Bend), showing the dedication it takes to improve flexibility.

A student demonstrating Sirsasana (Headstand) and its variations. This inversion is known as the king of asanas for its benefits on circulation, focus, and reducing stress.

A demonstration of a therapeutic sequence for back pain, where I guide a student through gentle strengthening poses like Salabhasana (Locust Pose) to support the spine.

Assisting a student in a deep backbend using a chair for support. Using props like this allows for a safer and more effective way to increase spinal flexibility.

Using a yoga strap to help a student achieve a deeper backbend in a variation of Kapotasana (Pigeon Pose). Straps are excellent tools for working on flexibility safely.

A student using a yoga strap and a punching bag for support in a deep side stretch. This creative use of props helps to open the side body and hips.

A student practicing a thoracic opening exercise against a wall. This is an effective way to improve flexibility in the upper and middle back, which is key for deeper backbends.

About Deepen Your Practice: Advanced Asanas

You might see advanced inversions like Sirsasana or deep backbends in my gallery, but we never start there. In every session, I rely heavily on props—like straps, chairs, and wall support—to help you safely open your hips, shoulders, and spine. This isn't about rushing into a pose to look a certain way; it is about using these tools to build the structural stability your body needs before moving into challenging variations.

Building Your Practice

Yoga is a journey of self-discovery, not a competition to perform the most complex pose. When we work on advanced asanas, my primary focus is 'Sthira' (stability) and 'Sukha' (ease). Whether you are struggling to find balance in a handstand or want to deepen your spinal flexibility, we break the movement down into manageable, safe steps.

Why We Use Props

Many students fear that using props is a sign of weakness. I teach the opposite. Using a yoga strap in a backbend or a chair for thoracic opening allows you to safely move your joints through a full range of motion without straining your muscles.

  • Backbend Progression: We focus on thoracic mobility rather than pushing the lumbar spine.
  • Inversion Foundations: We use wall support and core conditioning drills to build the confidence required for freestanding headstands and handstands.
  • Therapeutic Adjustment: If you have past injuries or chronic stiffness, we adapt the advanced pose to suit your anatomy, not the other way around.

Moving Forward

I offer these sessions in person across Delhi NCR, at my studio in Mayur Vihar, or via private coaching. We track your progress over weeks, ensuring that every time you get on the mat, you are developing not just a flexible body, but a steady, focused mind.

If you are ready to challenge yourself without risking injury, let’s talk about your current physical foundation and how we can build upon it.

I am Vineet. For me, yoga is not about perfection or achieving a 'cool' pose. It is about building a body and mind that can handle anything life throws at it. When we work on advanced asanas, we do it slowly, focusing on stability first so your practice remains sustainable for years, not just weeks.
