"Inhale the future, exhale the past." This quote perfectly captures the spirit of our kids' yoga classes. Here, young yogis are learning to connect with their breath and movement, building a foundation for a healthy and mindful life.
It's beautiful to see the next generation embracing yoga. This young student is practicing Surya Namaskar with focus and grace. My classes for children are designed to be playful while teaching them valuable skills for life.
Partner yoga is a beautiful way to connect and grow together. In this video, we explore a flow that requires trust and balance, creating harmony in motion. It's a fun way to deepen your practice and your bond with your partner.
This video shows moments from a partner yoga session in one of my group classes. From assisted stretches to playful balancing poses like side plank high-fives, we explore how working together can enhance strength and flexibility.
"Yoga is the journey of the self, through the self, to the self." This profound quote from The Bhagavad Gita is something I share with students of all ages, including the children in my classes, to inspire their inner journey.
"Yoga is the perfect opportunity to be curious about who you are." This quote by Jason Crandell is at the heart of my kids' yoga classes. I encourage children to explore their bodies and minds with curiosity and joy.
About Kids' & Partner Yoga
In my group sessions, I integrate props like straps and chairs to make partner flows accessible to everyone, regardless of skill level. Whether you are a parent looking to boost your child's concentration or friends wanting to try partner yoga, I personally guide you through each modification to ensure your safety and comfort.
Kids today face constant screens and academic pressure, so my classes focus on grounding them through simple Asanas and Pranayama. For children, it is about building body awareness and calm, not just competition. We practice sequences that improve their posture and mental clarity, which translates into better focus at school.
Partner yoga introduces a layer of trust and communication. It is not just about physical connection but learning to listen to someone else's rhythm. I frequently use these exercises to build community in my Kurla and Chembur batches. If you are beginners, we start slow with assisted stretches using belts or blocks. For those looking for a bit of excitement, I incorporate basic acro-yoga movements that emphasize balance and teamwork.
I keep my approach sahaj, saral, prabhavshali, which means easy, simple, and effective. You do not need to be an athlete to start. My sessions in Kurla community halls are open to all fitness levels. We work with what your body can do today, not what you think it should do. Reach out if you want to know about our upcoming schedule or batch timings in your area.
