For me, the mountains are more than just a place to visit. They are a home, a source of peace, and the setting for every retreat I host. Here is a look at the simple, grounded life that fuels my teaching.

Feeling so content and grateful for this life. Sitting on a rock in the mountains, I reflect on all the ups and downs that have brought me to this moment of peace.

This year, I have learned to heal myself, to love unconditionally, and to slow down. This practice is a reflection of my personal growth and the lessons 2023 has taught me.

A joyful, candid moment of just being. The purpose I've found in yoga and nature makes me feel better with every passing day.

Home bound. Taking time to heal, reset, and relax on my yoga mat with the mountains and clouds as my backdrop. This is my ultimate therapy.

A glimpse into my slow morning routine. It's not about doing a million things, but about simple rituals like hydrating, checking on my plants, and connecting with myself before the day begins.

Finding joy in the smallest things, like a warm cup of coffee and the morning sun streaming through the window. True happiness is found in these quiet, simple moments.

"Ab saans aayi." Finally, I can breathe. The fresh, clean air of the mountains is a welcome relief from the city pollution.

Looking up at the sky, feeling the fresh air. These moments of connection with nature are what I miss most when I am away from the hills.

About My Life in the Mountains

When I invite you to my hillside farm stays near Kotkhai or Nainital, do not expect luxury resorts. We stay in traditional, wood-paneled rooms with basic amenities, focusing on the view of the valley rather than room service. It is a space for those who want to wake up to organic mountain meals, join in on light farm work, and truly disconnect from city routines.

The mountains are my home and my greatest source of inspiration. When I created these retreats, my goal was simple. I wanted to offer a space where the city noise fades away and you can finally hear yourself think. These are not luxury hotel experiences. We live in wood-paneled rooms in family-run orchards near Kotkhai or Nainital. The focus is on the environment, the fresh air, and the slow pace of life.

During our time together, we stick to the basics. You will eat organic, local meals prepared on wood fires, spend mornings with Hatha or Vinyasa flows, and participate in rituals like pottery or forest hikes. My retreats are about shedding the layers of stress you carry from your daily routine. Whether you join me for an all-inclusive 3-night mountain retreat or prefer a flexible per-night stay in my family apple orchard, the invitation remains the same. Come as you are, leave the expectations behind, and reconnect with nature.
