About Wellness & Yoga Retreats
Why I Host Retreats
Suno...ek pahaad dikhana hai tumhe (Listen...I want to show you a mountain). I grew up close to the land, always feeling the pull of the hills. My Bodhichitta Retreats come straight from that need to escape city chaos and tune into something real. If you crave silence, mountain air, and a break from the daily grind, you’ll fit right in.
What the Experience Feels Like
It’s not a regular holiday. We slow down and live simply - balancing between movement and stillness, group meditation retreat sessions and solo reflection. My retreats are for anyone who feels tired, curious, or just wants to heal a bit. No yoga experience needed, just an open heart.
- Mornings with Pranayama, Mantra Chanting, Hatha and Vinyasa yoga
- Yogic Kriyas like Jal Neti for cleansing
- Evenings: Bhajans, Kirtan, silent meditation, sound healing
- Nature-inspired healing journey with hikes, pottery, and local ashram visits
- Sometimes, I host small farm stays (4-6 people) near Shimla - we live slow, eat local, trek, camp, and soak in mindful farm stay in Himalayas vibes
Who Finds Meaning Here
If you’re looking for an immersive wellness experience, want to connect with nature, and don’t mind some honest conversation and mountain quiet, you’ll feel at home. I’m here to guide, not preach. You’ll meet new faces, but most importantly - you’ll meet yourself.

My Story
Hi, I’m Manikarnika. Delhi is where I teach yoga, but Kotkhai in the hills is home. Farm girl, pahadan at heart, happiest picking fresh apricots with family. Shiv Ji’s blessings led me to Arjun Sir, who flipped my world and rooted me deeper. I’m both the calm yoga teacher and the silly retreat host – dumb charades and all! Life’s a mix, no? Yoga helps me ride the waves and I love sharing that healing.
My Work
Yoga & Wellness Services - I guide holistic wellness coaching, bilingual yoga classes, life coaching, meditation, and stress management for all levels.
Teaching Style - Classes blend asanas, pranayama, meditation. I use Hindi and English, like 'apne tail bone pe dhyan.' Go slow, don’t push.
Yoga Philosophy - Yoga’s not about looking perfect. It’s about healing, finding balance, and knowing your true self, especially after tough times.
Bodhichitta Mountain Retreats - I design retreats in the hills – yoga, hiking, pottery, bhajans. It’s a slower, soulful escape from city chaos.
