I view yoga as a moving meditation. My classes blend Hatha and Vinyasa flows to help you build physical strength while cultivating a calm, adaptable mind.

Yoga is our moving meditation. This short flow shows how we can move from one pose to another with grace and awareness, turning the physical practice into a journey inward.

Celebrating International Yoga Day by living my yoga. This flow includes poses like Devi Asana and a standing leg hold, showing how yoga is a transformative practice for me, inside and out.

When the song of yoga plays in your life, all other noises fade away. Holding Chakrasana (Wheel Pose) in my practice space, feeling the energy flow and the heart open.

Stronger together. Here, we are practicing Eka Pada Rajakapotasana (One-Legged King Pigeon Pose), supporting each other's practice and building a community of growth.

Consistency is what pays off in any practice. This flow includes handstand practice and other challenging movements that show the result of dedicated, daily effort on the mat.

Finding balance together in Vrksasana (Tree Pose) during an outdoor session. Practicing in a group creates a beautiful synergy and shared focus.

This is how I feel when I am alone, free to move and express through my yoga practice. A personal flow including a deep backbend, finding freedom on my mat.

My yoga practice isn't always about fancy poses. This gentle, restorative flow shows the importance of listening to your body and connecting with your inner self through slow, conscious movements.

Snippets from my practice, feeling comfortable with the discomfort. This flow includes challenging poses like Sirsasana and Chin Stand, reminding me to face life's challenges with patience.

Working on a twisting squat variation in our Delhi studio. This pose challenges balance and opens the hips and spine, creating a sense of groundedness and freedom.

About The Path of Yoga: Asana & Movement

I often emphasize 'active holds' in my flows instead of just passive stretching. This is not just about flexibility; it is about engaging your muscles to build real strength and increasing your range of motion safely. When you hold a pose actively, you are not just bending; you are building the stamina to stay steady in discomfort, a skill that translates directly from the mat to your daily life.

For me, yoga is not about looking perfect or achieving a textbook pose. It is a dialogue between your body and your breath. Whether we are practicing a slow Hatha flow to ground ourselves or a more dynamic Vinyasa sequence, my focus is on alignment and awareness.

In my sessions—whether in my Delhi studio or online—I incorporate Pranayama, mantra chanting, and restorative techniques to help you release physical tension and emotional stress. I often remind students, 'apne tail bone pe dhyan' (focus on your tailbone), to help them ground themselves.

  • Hatha & Vinyasa: We move with intention. We focus on building heat, stability, and flexibility at your own pace.
  • Mindful Movement: I encourage students to listen to their bodies. If you need to rest, you rest. If you need to challenge yourself, we go deeper.
  • Healing & Wellness: My goal is to help you build a yogic mindset. This helps you handle difficult situations outside the studio with more patience and clarity.

I am here to guide, not to preach. If you are looking to deepen your practice, understand your body better, or simply find a space to exhale, you are welcome here.

I’m Manikarnika. I teach yoga in Delhi, but my heart is in the mountains. I’m the calm teacher who helps you hold a challenging pose, and the goofy friend who loves a good laugh when the mat is rolled away.
