This video demonstrates a 10-minute chair and belt yoga sequence specifically designed for managing PCOD, diabetes, and hormonal imbalances. These accessible therapeutic techniques are a core part of our curriculum.
Here, our therapy students learn to administer spinal traction for sciatica pain. This hands-on experience with real cases is a crucial part of our teacher training program.

Why Props Are Not Optional
We specialize in the Iyengar-influenced approach, where props act as instruments for precision.
- Rope Wall (Kurunta): We use this to achieve traction that the body cannot create on its own, allowing us to safely decompress vertebrae.
- Belt & Chair Work: These are fundamental for students who cannot yet perform advanced asanas. We use them to retract the scapula, open the chest, and create space in the thoracic and lumbar regions.
- Targeted Therapy: We don't guess your progress. We study your case—cervical, thoracic, or lumbar—and build a sequence that helps you breathe through the stretch rather than fighting against it.
Beyond the Mat
Healing is about what happens internally. While we focus on asanas for physical alignment, we also integrate Vedic mantras and sound healing to address the mental stress that often exacerbates physical pain. We believe that when you channelize your prana in the right direction, the body begins to heal itself.
