Why I Host Yoga Retreats
I see retreats as more than a break from routine - it’s a real chance to hit pause, reconnect with yourself, and soak in nature. My getaways are always about finding a little peace, feeling lighter in your head and heart, and just letting your shoulders drop for a while.
The Experience
Usually, we head out for 3 to 4 nights, finding a quiet spot where you can forget about your phone and deadlines. I handle all the planning, so you just show up and settle in. Expect soulful food, warm company, and space to just be. We share stories, help each other through those awkward first attempts, and laugh a lot. Nobody’s judging how flexible you are.
What We Actually Do
- Sunrise yoga classes to kickstart the day
- Restorative yoga retreat sessions for unwinding (no pressure to nail every pose, promise)
- Aerial yoga workshops and playful partner sessions if you’re up for a bit of fun
- Sound healing meditation sessions and guided breathwork for quieting the mind
Depending on where we are, you’ll find yourself trekking to waterfalls, cycling, sitting around a bonfire, or getting lost in local traditions like Ganga Aarti. Sometimes, we add quirky stuff like pottery or cacao ceremonies.
Who’s It For?
Doesn’t matter if you’re a complete newbie or a regular on the mat - I welcome everyone. You just need to show up for yourself. That’s enough.
The Places
No fixed address. I handpick cozy spots like Goa’s beaches, Dehradun’s hills, or a tucked-away retreat in Delhi. Each place has its own vibe and becomes part of our story.

My Story
Hey, I'm Surbhi – dancer, teacher, forever student, and yes, proud dog mom (Stella’s the real boss). Fifteen years I taught ballet, shaping tiny ballerinas, but now my heart’s deep in yoga, or 'Yogascapes' as I call it. I’m always learning, from Mysore trips to sound healing and animal flow. My happiest moments? Sun, sea, scuba, my mom, and my dogs. My classes are chill – I don’t scold, I explain. Learning should be fun, na?
My Work
Yoga, Ballet & Healing Classes - I teach general yoga, aerial yoga for beginners, hormone healing yoga, sound healing, prenatal yoga, yoga therapy, and ballet.
Progress, Not Perfection - You’ll wobble, you’ll laugh. My classes are safe, kind, sometimes silly. No scolding, just explaining.
For Everyone - Beginners, pros, anyone wanting mindful movement. We focus on strength, flexibility, and listening to your body.
Online & In-Person, Plus Retreats - Join group classes or mindful movement retreats like 'Hillside Harmony' – deep practice, nature, and good vibes.
