About Build Strength & Master Advanced Poses
Let’s be real, the photos you see are the result of many failed attempts before the final successful one. In my advanced flow sessions, we do not just jump to the final pose, because that is how injuries happen. We focus on the core engagement, shoulder stability, and wrist preparation required to get there safely. You will wobble, you might fall, and that is completely fine. I am right there to guide your alignment so you build the actual strength to hold the pose, not just force your body into a shape.
Think yoga is just sitting and breathing? Bhool jao wahi purani soch (Forget that old thinking). My advanced yoga sessions in Defence Colony are designed for people who want to move, sweat, and build genuine functional strength.
We move beyond basic postures to work on complex arm balances like Crow Pose, intricate Vinyasa flows, and inversions that test your stability. It is not about looking aesthetic; it is about building a body that can handle the intensity.
Why this approach works:
- Core & Shoulder Stability: You cannot master an inversion without a strong core and open shoulders. We break these down into drills.
- Proper Alignment: We use props like wall ropes, bricks, and wheels to ensure you are safe. This is essential for preventing injury while pushing your limits.
- Rotational Styles: We do not stick to one thing. Whether it is Sculpt Yoga with ankle weights or traditional Ashtanga, we rotate styles to keep your muscles guessing and growing.
Whether you are prepping for a 200-hour teacher training or just want to get lean and agile, my classes focus on the mechanics of the movement. You will learn the reason behind the pose, not just the how. If you are tired of stagnant routines and want a practice that challenges your limits, join our next batch.
