About Your First Step: Yoga for Beginners
The biggest misconception I hear is that you need to be flexible before joining a class. That is not how it works here. We use props like wall ropes, bricks, and chairs from day one to support your posture. Whether we are doing a downward dog or a simple forward fold, you will find that these tools help you reach the pose safely without straining your back or knees.
Starting yoga can feel intimidating, but at Yoga Fettle Journey, we keep things simple and real. My approach is about movement and clarity, not perfect performance.
Why Start Here?
If you have been holding back because you think you are too stiff or 'not fit enough,' let that thought go. My classes in Defence Colony are designed to be a judgment-free zone. We focus on foundational poses that help you understand your own body, breath, and limits.
The Role of Props
Beginners often struggle with alignment. This is where props come in. We do not just use them for support; we use them to correct your form. When you use a wall rope or a block, you can hold a pose longer and breathe through it, which is where the real healing happens. You are not fighting your body; you are working with it.
What You Get
- Small Batches: With 6 to 12 students, I ensure you get the attention you need to avoid injury.
- Holistic Growth: It is not just about physical movement. We integrate breathing and meditation so you leave feeling calm.
- Flexible Styles: Once you build a base, we rotate through styles like Hatha and Vinyasa to keep you engaged.
Whether you are looking to fix your posture, reduce stress, or simply find a hobby that makes you feel good, this is the right place to begin. Just bring yourself and an open mind.
Yoga Fettle Journey
I started Yoga Fettle Journey because I saw too many people intimidated by the 'perfect' yoga pictures online. My classes are a safe space where you don't need to touch your toes to start. We focus on building a foundation that makes you feel stronger and calmer from the inside out.
