About Become a Certified Teacher: Our YTTC Programs
Learning to teach yoga is different from just practicing. You will spend hours mastering hands-on adjustments and learning to use props like the rope wall safely, because understanding alignment is what separates a good teacher from just another instructor.
Yoga is not about the fancy stuff you see on social media. It is about discipline, clarity, and safety. In my 200 and 300-hour teacher training courses, I strip away the myths and focus on what actually works. You will study anatomy, learn to read bodies, and understand how to modify poses for different students, from beginners to those with injuries.
We cover a range of styles including Ashtanga, Vinyasa, Hatha, and Aerial yoga. The training is intense but practical. Since 2011, I have helped students move from being enthusiastic practitioners to confident teachers who can lead a room. You will learn to use props like bricks, belts, chairs, and aerial silks, not just as accessories, but as tools for therapeutic correction.
Whether you are joining us at our Defence Colony studio or through our hybrid/online modules, the expectation is the same. We focus on real, grounded practice. You will get the opportunity to observe live classes, practice your teaching cues, and receive feedback on your adjustments.
