Yoga is not just about flexibility. Whether you are navigating pregnancy or looking to manage menstrual pain, our therapeutic sessions use props like chairs and ropes to make healing safe and accessible for every stage of your life.

This is the Cat-Cow stretch, or Marjaryasana-Bitilasana. It is a wonderful pose during pregnancy to gently warm up the spine and relieve tension in the lower back. It also helps to encourage the baby into a good position for birth.

Here is the Cow Pose, or Bitilasana, part of the Cat-Cow flow. Looking up and arching the back gently opens the chest and strengthens the spine. This movement is especially beneficial for creating space and comfort during pregnancy.

Legs-Up-the-Wall pose, or Viparita Karani, is a deeply restorative posture. For expecting mothers, it can help reduce swelling in the ankles and feet and calm the nervous system. It is a simple and safe way to find relief.

A gentle seated spinal twist, or Ardha Matsyendrasana, can help improve digestion and increase spinal flexibility. During pregnancy, we modify this pose to ensure it is safe and comfortable, creating space for the belly while still getting the benefits of the twist.

The Wide-Angle Seated Forward Bend, or Upavistha Konasana, is excellent for opening the hips and stretching the inner thighs. During pregnancy, this pose can help prepare the pelvis for childbirth. We always use props to ensure the stretch is gentle and supported.

Are you suffering from cramp pain during your period? This guided yoga flow is designed specifically to help. I will take you through a series of gentle stretches, twists, and poses like child's pose and snake pose to release tension in the lower back and pelvic region, helping you enjoy your periods without pain.

Did you know Chair Yoga can be a powerful tool for nurturing reproductive health? This video shows how we use a chair to support the body in poses that can help with hormonal balance, boost circulation, and promote overall well-being.

About Yoga for Women's Health

If you think yoga requires extreme physical flexibility, let's reset that expectation today. In our women’s health batches at our Defence Colony studio, we do not push for advanced asanas. Instead, we use wall ropes, bolsters, and chairs to create stability and support. Whether it is pelvic floor strengthening during pregnancy or gentle spinal releases for period cramp relief, every movement is guided by a therapist to ensure you are healing your body, not straining it.
