About Yoga for Women's Wellness
Many of my students start with me looking for a natural way to handle period pain or PCOD symptoms without relying on painkillers. We focus on specific asanas that improve pelvic blood flow and help balance the endocrine system. It is not an overnight fix, but consistent, gentle movement changes how you experience your cycle.
My Approach to Women's Health
I treat yoga as a form of medicine. My sessions are not about pushing for the perfect pose, but about finding the right movement for your body's current state. Whether you are dealing with PCOD/PCOS, struggling with fertility, or just trying to navigate a painful cycle, we work on identifying the root cause rather than just treating the symptoms.
Targeting PCOD and PCOS
We focus on asanas that stimulate the ovaries and improve blood circulation in the pelvic region. Poses like Malasana (Garland Pose) and various Butterfly variations are staples in my routines for hormonal balance. We also integrate pranayama techniques to lower cortisol levels, as stress is often a major trigger for hormonal flare-ups.
Fertility and Reproductive Support
If you are on a journey to conceive, my goal is to create an environment in your body that supports your reproductive system. This involves a mix of Hatha Yoga and Sukshma Vyayama to open the hips and increase blood flow to the reproductive organs. I also teach specific breathwork to keep the mind calm during what can be a stressful time.
Safety and Personalization
Because I am a certified Yoga Therapist, your safety comes first. I do not believe in one-size-fits-all routines. If you have back pain, thyroid issues, or are simply a beginner, we modify every sequence. We use props like chairs or walls where needed, ensuring that the practice fits your body, not the other way around. My sessions are designed to be accessible whether you are at home in Delhi or Bengaluru, or joining me virtually.
