Breathe better, live better. In these sessions, we explore ancient pranayama techniques to lower stress, improve lung health, and bring balance back to your busy day. Whether you are a beginner or looking to deepen your practice, we will find the flow that works for your body.

Anulom Vilom, or alternate nostril breathing, is a fundamental pranayama for balancing the mind, body, and breath. It's a simple yet powerful practice to find inner peace and reduce daily stress.

This guided Anulom Vilom practice shows the correct hand posture and breathing pattern. It's excellent for improving lung function, enhancing focus, and detoxifying the body.

You can practice pranayama anywhere, even at your desk. Here is a demonstration of Anulom Vilom on a chair, perfect for a quick mental reset during a busy workday.

Kapalbhati is a powerful cleansing and energizing pranayama. Practicing with my grandfather shows that this technique, when done correctly, can benefit people of all ages by improving mental clarity and reducing stress.

As the ancient texts say, one who gains control over their breath, gains control over their life. Pranayama is the key to mastering your inner world, especially in today's fast-paced environment.

Sectional breathing, or Vibhagiya Svasana, is a technique to improve lung capacity and correct poor breathing patterns. Just 10 minutes a day can bring more vitality and calmness to your life.

This hand stretch breathing exercise is a simple way to mobilize your joints and connect your movement with your breath. It's a great warm-up for both your body and your lungs.

How healthy are your lungs? This breath-hold challenge is a fun way to test your lung capacity. Regular pranayama practice can significantly improve your score and overall respiratory health.

Mudras, or hand gestures, are an important part of yoga. This video explains the Vayu, Prana, and Vyan mudras, which can help balance the body's elements, boost vitality, and even support nerve and eye health.

Gyan Mudra, the mudra of knowledge, is one of the most common hand gestures in meditation. It helps improve concentration, memory, and reduces mental disturbances like anger and fear.

About Pranayama: The Art of Breath

I don't believe in generic breathing videos. Whether we are practicing Anulom Vilom for balance or Kapalbhati for energy, I tailor every session to your specific health needs. During our 1-on-1 sessions, I watch your technique closely—fixing micro-postures to ensure you are actually engaging the diaphragm correctly, so you get the physiological benefits rather than just holding your breath.

Pranayama is not just about holding your breath; it is the science of mastering your life force. When I guide you through techniques like Bhramari or Nadi Shodhana, I focus on the nervous system response. My approach blends traditional Hatha Yoga with modern therapeutic understanding to ensure you see real results.

What we cover in these sessions:

  • Nervous System Reset: Using Bhramari and deep exhalations to help you shift from 'fight or flight' to 'rest and digest' mode.
  • Lung Capacity Building: Specific routines for seniors and those looking to improve respiratory health, using techniques like sectional breathing (Vibhagiya Svasana).
  • Postural Alignment: Pranayama works best when the spine is aligned. I teach you how to sit comfortably, whether on a chair at your office or cross-legged at home, to maximize airflow.
  • Mind-Body Connection: Using specific mudras like Gyan or Vayu to amplify the effects of your breathwork.

Who is this for?

If you are dealing with high stress, shallow breathing from desk jobs, or just want to feel more energized, this is for you. I have taught everyone from corporate professionals in Bengaluru to kids and seniors. You don’t need a fancy studio; you just need to show up. We start exactly where you are, using household props like cushions or walls if needed.

I’m Deeksha, and my yoga journey started with my brother and a lot of curiosity. I’m a certified Yoga Therapist who loves combining ancient wisdom with real science—yes, I’ve even analyzed Bhramari pranayama with beta waves! When I’m not on the mat, I’m probably filming with a 'jugaad' tripod or laughing with my 'bachha party'. Let’s breathe and grow together.
