Ready to move beyond the basics? Whether you want to master arm balances or build raw strength with traditional Hindu Dands, we will push past your limits safely and steadily.

Kakasana, or Crow Pose, is a foundational arm balance that teaches you to trust your strength. It's a great way to build core power, strengthen your wrists, and improve your focus.

Mayurasana, or Peacock Pose, is a challenging arm balance that requires significant strength and focus. It's a testament to what the body can achieve with dedicated practice.

My journey with Salamba Sirsasana (Supported Headstand). Even an attempt is a step forward. This pose is incredible for calming the brain and strengthening the entire body.

Hindu Pushups, or Dands, are a traditional Indian exercise for building incredible strength. This video shows three variations: Hanuman Dand, Sadharan Dand, and Vrishchik Dand.

Hindu pushups are an amazing full-body workout. Here I demonstrate the Hanuman Dand and Scorpio pushups, which build strength, endurance, and self-confidence.

The pain you feel today is the strength you feel tomorrow. Hanuman Dand pushups are a powerful exercise that builds upper body and core strength while improving spinal flexibility.

Strength knows no gender. Practicing Hanuman Dand helps prevent back problems and builds immense courage and power, just like Hanuman's leap.

Hindu Baithak (sit-ups) are a traditional way to build lower body strength and stamina. This video shows 8 variations that empower the body and build discipline.

This is the Utthita Hasta Padangusthasana, or Extended Hand-to-Big-Toe Pose. It's a challenging posture that deeply tests your balance and flexibility.

You don’t need to be an athlete to start advanced flows. We will break down poses like Crow (Kakasana) or Hanuman Dand into manageable steps, focusing on safe alignment so you build power without injury. Whether we are doing this online or at my studio, my focus is on teaching you how to build resilience, not just how to perform a pose.

Building Strength Beyond the Mat

Advanced yoga is not just about showing off a pose on Instagram. It is about understanding your body's mechanics, learning how to engage your core, and knowing when to push and when to rest. My approach blends modern strength training with traditional Indian techniques like Hindu Pushups (Dands) and Baithaks. These are time-tested ways to build functional power, shoulder stability, and a strong back.

What We Focus On

  • Arm Balances: Techniques for Kakasana (Crow Pose) and Mayurasana (Peacock Pose). We start with wrist preparation and core engagement to build the necessary foundation.
  • Inversions: Step-by-step guidance for Sirsasana (Headstand). We focus on wall support and building confidence before moving to free-standing poses.
  • Traditional Conditioning: Hindu pushups (Hanuman Dand, Sadharan Dand) for full-body strength, plus variations that improve spinal flexibility.
  • Flexibility & Mobility: Deep stretches like the middle splits or compass pose are approached through patience and consistent, safe practice.

Safety and Alignment

I am a certified Yoga Therapist, which means safety is my priority. Every advanced pose has a regression or modification. If you are struggling with a posture, we will find a version that works for your body today while we build the strength for the full version tomorrow. We will work on your breathing (pranayama) alongside these asanas to keep your nervous system calm while your muscles work.
