About Personal Training & Advanced Asanas
In our private sessions, I do not just demonstrate from a distance. I provide physical, hands-on adjustments to help your body find correct alignment. This is essential if you are working through an injury, recovering from stiffness, or struggling to break through to advanced postures. It is not about achieving a perfect form on day one, but about building strength and understanding through safe, guided touch.
Private training is about removing the distractions of a crowded class. When you are on the mat alone with a teacher, we can address your specific physical goals, whether that means managing lower back pain, weight management, or finally holding that inversion you have been working toward.
How We Work Together
My teaching style blends Ashtanga for discipline and strength, and Hatha for foundational alignment and breath control. In a 60 to 75 minute private session, we do not follow a fixed schedule that fits everyone. Instead, I tailor the sequence to your current energy levels and physical condition. If you have an injury, we focus on therapeutic stretches and assisted postures using my own body weight to provide deeper support than you could achieve on your own.
