Building a Supportive Yoga Community
Yoga is more than just poses on a mat. It is about finding a space where we can grow, support one another, and share the journey of practice together. Here is a glimpse into the community we are building.
The path of yoga is best walked together. I feel grateful to connect with dedicated students and teachers who share a passion for the practice.
Sharing knowledge and energy with fellow yogis is a blessing. This picture captures a moment of connection and mutual respect within our yoga community.
About Our Yoga Community
When you join my offline batches in Santacruz, you are not just a number in a crowded gym. I keep group sizes limited to 15 students to ensure I can provide hands-on, physical adjustments for your spinal alignment, which is the only way to safely learn the nuances of Ashtanga and Hatha flow.
My approach to yoga is rooted in discipline but balanced with accessibility. Whether you are starting with Hatha to understand the basics or moving into dynamic Ashtanga, the goal is always to build a sustainable practice. Many students come to me because they want to move away from crowded, impersonal fitness centers and into a space that feels like a shared, quiet journey. We practice in simple, functional community halls where the focus stays on the breath and the posture.
If you are looking for more intensive attention, we can discuss private 1-on-1 sessions at your home, which allow us to dive into specific needs like injury management or mastering advanced inversions. For those who want to experience the full yogic lifestyle, I also host 'Yoga Prasadam' workshops where we combine a 90-minute Vinyasa flow with a traditional Kerala sadhya. It is a way to nourish both the body and the mind, connecting us all through good food and movement. My batches change monthly, so please reach out if you would like to know about the current schedule in Santacruz or our upcoming live online sessions.
