Yoga Prasadam: Ashtanga Flow & Traditional Kerala Sadhya Feast
Join me for a morning of movement and nourishment. We begin with a 90-minute Ashtanga Vinyasa flow to build heat, followed by an authentic, plant-based Kerala Sadhya feast served on a traditional banana leaf.
Namaste. I personally invite you to my Yog Prasadam workshop. It is an opportunity to practice yoga together and then share a traditional meal from my home state of Kerala.
From asana to ahara (food), this video shows the full journey of my Yog Prasadam workshop. You can see me guiding students in practice, preparing ingredients, and serving the final Sadhya feast.
This poster gives all the details for my unique Yog Prasadam workshop. It is a day of holistic wellbeing, combining a Vinyasa flow yoga session with a nourishing, plant-based Sadhya meal.
About Yog Prasadam: A Taste of Kerala
We dedicate the first 90 minutes of the workshop to a vigorous Ashtanga Vinyasa flow, specifically designed to prepare your body for the nourishing meal that follows. Once we conclude our practice, we sit down together for a traditional Kerala Sadhya feast, serving the same plant-based, satvik dishes I grew up eating in my home state, ensuring the experience nurtures both your muscles and your appetite.
This workshop is built on the philosophy of 'Asana to Ahara'—connecting the discipline of the mat with the purity of what we eat. We move away from the noise of daily city life to create a space where your physical practice directly influences your digestive and mental peace.
The Workshop Experience
We host these sessions in comfortable spaces like the Hotel Mumbai House in Juhu, which offers the necessary facilities like changing rooms, shower access, and valet parking. This allows you to practice fully and then transition comfortably into a relaxed, communal dining experience.
The Menu
Each Sadhya is 100% plant-based and satvik. You can expect a spread featuring red rice, sambar, avial, and payasam, all served on a fresh banana leaf. It is not just about eating; it is about understanding how home-style, simple food supports the body after a high-intensity Vinyasa session.
Why Join?
Whether you are looking to deepen your Ashtanga practice or simply want to experience a traditional Kerala dining culture in Mumbai, this workshop provides a bridge between the two. You don't need to be an expert to join the flow; my focus is on helping you find your own rhythm, followed by a meal that I personally ensure is prepared with care and tradition.
