It started with a dream. I added faith, action, and patience, and today I am filled with gratitude for this aerial yoga studio. It is a testament to the power of perseverance and a dream come true.
From an empty space to a vibrant studio welcoming souls, this has been a journey of turning challenges into victories. Every doubt fueled my determination to create this healing sanctuary.
Each day, we step onto our mats not just to sculpt our bodies, but to nourish them. Through the ancient practice of yoga, we discover that true healing begins from within, one deep breath at a time.
About Our Healing Sanctuary: Studio & Aerial Yoga
When you come in for aerial yoga, don't worry if you have never touched a hammock before. We spend the first part of every session just getting comfortable with the fabric—you will be surprised how quickly your spine releases tension once you trust the swing. It is not about doing advanced flips on day one; it is about that initial, grounding stretch.
Why Aerial Yoga?
It is more than just a workout. The silk hammocks are incredible for spinal decompression, helping you create space in your joints that normal floor yoga sometimes misses. Whether you are dealing with chronic back pain or just feeling heavy from a long week, hanging, stretching, and letting gravity do the work is a game-changer.
The Shalimar Bagh Experience
My studio is not a gym where you come to perform. It is a sanctuary. We keep class sizes intimate so I can watch your form, especially when you are upside down or attempting a new inversion. You do not need to be flexible to start; you just need to show up.
Beyond the Hammock
We blend the aerial practice with our broader philosophy—mixing breathwork and mindful movement. We might start with a few floor stretches, transition to the aerial flows, and end with a guided relaxation that hits differently when you have fully de-stressed your muscles. If you are nervous about inversions, we have plenty of 'feet-on-ground' variations to help you build confidence before going fully airborne. Come by for a session, bring comfortable clothes, leave your ego at the door, and let us see what your body is truly capable of.
