Hand strength is a reflection of inner balance. In our classes, we build the strength in the hands and wrists necessary for arm balances and inversions.
Students practice walking on their hands, a challenging exercise that builds incredible upper body and core strength.
An instructor assists a student in Kurmasana (Tortoise Pose), a deep forward bend that calms the nervous system and stretches the entire back body.
Students in our advanced class work on Astavakrasana (Eight-Angle Pose), using blocks for support to build strength and find balance.
Students use blocks to support them in a deep twisting forward bend, which helps to detoxify the organs and improve spinal mobility.
I provide a hands-on adjustment in a twisting yoga pose, helping the student to deepen the rotation safely and effectively.

About this collection
When you practice with us, you won't just see perfect poses; you will learn how to reach them safely. We use bricks, straps, and even wall ropes to support your body's unique architecture. It is not about forcing a stretch but about finding the right alignment so your joints open naturally without strain.
My approach combines the precision of Iyengar with the flow of Hatha and Ashtanga. Whether it is Tittibhasana or a deep twist like Kurmasana, every pose is broken down into simple, actionable steps. Many students come to me thinking they cannot do a pose, but with the right prop support, the body realizes it is capable of much more than it assumed.
Our studio in Rohini is equipped with heavy wooden props and wall stations that allow us to work on spinal traction and deep inversions safely. If you are joining online, I require the video to be on so I can provide the same verbal corrections I would in the studio. We focus on the 'how' and 'why'—why your shoulder needs to be set a certain way or how to engage your core to protect your lower back. Consistent practice is the only shortcut here; show up, follow the guidance, and the results follow.
Vyas Yoga Center
Namaste, I am Diwakar Vyas. I believe yoga is not just about flexibility; it is a discipline of the breath and the body. At my school, we strip away the showmanship to focus on what actually moves the needle: alignment, consistency, and safe, step-by-step progress.
