I believe a strong house must be built on a solid foundation. In this 15-part Boxing Series, I break down the core fundamentals of boxing and kickboxing, from proper stance to advanced defense, so you can train with precision.

Boxing Series: Lesson 1. We start from the very beginning. I explain the two primary stances in boxing, Orthodox and Southpaw, and show you how to find your natural stance to build everything upon.

Boxing Series: Lesson 2. Here, I cover the six basic punches and demonstrate how to throw a proper jab and cross. We focus on generating power from the ground up through your hips and shoulders.

Boxing Series: Lesson 3. This lesson is about the hook punch. I demonstrate the correct 90-degree arm angle and the rotational movement of the hips and feet needed to generate power in this close-range punch.

Boxing Series: Lesson 4. We learn the uppercut, a devastating punch in close quarters. I show how to execute it correctly with both the lead and rear hand, emphasizing the use of your legs and core for power.

Boxing Series: Lesson 5. Footwork is everything. I break down the basic forward, backward, and lateral movements, ensuring you maintain balance and distance at all times.

Boxing Series: Lesson 6. Now we combine footwork with punches. This drill shows how to throw the jab-cross combination while moving forward and backward, maintaining your structure and power.

Boxing Series: Lesson 7. In this lesson, we integrate the hook punch with footwork. I demonstrate how to throw hooks while moving forward and backward, a key skill for fighting on the inside.

Boxing Series: Lesson 8. We complete the set by practicing the uppercut while moving. This drill helps you learn to throw uppercuts effectively as you close the distance or create space.

Boxing Series: Lesson 9. Before you throw a punch, you must protect your hands. I provide a detailed, step-by-step guide on how to wrap your hands properly using 4-meter wraps for maximum support.

Boxing Series: Lesson 10. Inspired by Mike Tyson's peek-a-boo style, this lesson covers the side-to-side head movement. I teach you how to bend at the waist and use your legs to evade punches.

About The Boxing Series: Technical Lessons

I have structured these lessons to build your technical foundation from the ground up, starting with your stance and hand wraps. If you are serious about learning, understand that boxing is not just about sweating for an hour. We focus on your biomechanics, footwork, and defensive angles until the technique becomes second nature, because real progress in this sport comes from repetition and discipline, not quick fixes.
