Why I Coach HYROX & Hybrid Athletes
I’m 40 and still chasing grit like it’s my first race. If you think you’re too late to start, I’m living proof you’re not. My style? Discipline, commitment, and belief, even on days when motivation is missing. HYROX is messy, brutal, but totally doable - for beginners, runners, and gym lovers wanting more than just muscle.
What Hybrid Athlete Training Looks Like
HYROX race preparation means balancing running, strength, and rest. We’ll build your aerobic engine with smart Zone 2 workouts, use run-walk intervals if needed, and always train under fatigue. You’ll get used to performing when tired, because that’s when the real growth happens.
Stations aren’t just stations - they’re battles. Sled push and pull, wall balls (they suck, but I’ll help you master them), weighted lunges, rowing, farmer’s carries, and all the other monsters. I focus on technique and smooth transitions, not just brute force.
How I Coach: Grind, Recovery, Mindset
Mental toughness coaching is huge for me. We’ll train your mind to handle race-day nerves and failure, using every setback as a lesson. Savdhani hati, durghatna ghati (carelessness leads to accidents) - safety and long-term progress matter more than quick wins.
Recovery is non-negotiable: electrolytes, protein, sleep, rest days. I want you strong, not broken.
What Makes It Worth It
Podium finishes aren’t everything. For me, my biggest win was my family finally understanding the passion - that sweaty hug after the race. If you want to push limits and find your ‘why’, I’m ready when you are.
