Training Structure
- High Volume Access: 1-on-1 coaching sessions 4 to 5 days a week directly with Hyrox Pro Gaurav Rana.
- Periodized Blocks: Structured roadmap moving from strength phases to endurance and tapering leading up to race day.
- Hybrid Conditioning: S&C mixed with HIIT to build the engine required for running after heavy leg work.
Functional Equipment & Vibe
- Competition Standards: Training on race-grade equipment including Concept2 SkiErg, heavy Prowler Sleds (150kg+ capacity), and sandbags.
- Raw Environment: Training happens in a non-AC, industrial "akhada-style" facility in Yamuna Vihar focused on heat adaptation and grit.
- Station Drills: Specific technical work on the 8 functional stations to master efficiency.

- Race Engineering: Insights on pacing, ROXZONE transitions, and energy conservation from a Pro athlete's experience.

Technical Correction
- Form Analysis: Deep-dive into specific struggle areas such as Sled Push leverage, Wall Ball efficiency, or SkiErg stroke rate.
- Heavy Simulation: Practice on competition-weight equipment (e.g., 152kg Sled Pull) often unavailable in commercial gyms.
Race Planning
- Pacing Logic: Tactical discussion on splitting 1km runs vs. functional stations based on current fitness levels.

I treat Hyrox like a battlefield where only sweat and stubbornness matter. As a Pro Boxer and Hyrox Pro Athlete, I don’t just talk about the grind - I live it. If you’re after shortcuts or “magic” plans, this isn’t for you.
How I Train You for Hyrox
- I share real race strategies, not textbook tips. Expect honest advice from someone who’s pushed through every painful sled and wall ball.
- You’ll learn pacing for all 8km, smart transitions, and how to keep moving when your mind wants to quit.
- “Jo badalta hai wo aage badhta hai” (he who changes, moves forward) is my core belief. It’s all about adapting and working hard.
What We Work On
- Hybrid athlete training plan: We mix heavy lifts (deadlifts, squats) and HIIT to build power and relentless cardio.
- Hyrox station technique tips: From SkiErg to Sled Push, I’ll show you efficient form and real-life hacks that work.
- Functional strength for Hyrox: You’ll get stronger for sandbag lunges, kettlebell carries, burpee broad jumps, and wall balls.
Mindset & Training Ground
- Ranbhumi me pahunchne ke sirf do parinaam hote hain, veergati ya vijay (On the battlefield, it’s either heroic defeat or victory). I’ll push you to keep going, even when it sucks.
- Training happens in my akhada (gym) in Yamuna Vihar, Delhi - not fancy, but it’s got everything we need.
