Explore the distinct flavours of Assam, Nagaland, and Manipur with our traditional thalis. Every meal comes with aromatic Joha rice, dal, and the real ingredients we grew up with.

A beautiful spread of our different thalis and side dishes. Each thali is a balanced meal, offering a variety of tastes and textures, from spicy curries to simple boiled vegetables and tangy chutneys.

Our special Naga Thali, a complete meal that brings the authentic taste of Nagaland to your plate. It includes rice, dal, boiled vegetables, eromba or another traditional side, and a Naga-style chicken curry with bamboo shoot.

This is our Chicken Manipuri Thali, packed for delivery. It features Manipuri-style chicken curry, dal, iromba (a fermented fish and vegetable mash), a fresh salad called singju, and steamed rice.

A closer look at our Naga special thali served in traditional steel plates. You get rice, dal, a main curry, a side of eromba, pickles, and a papad for that extra crunch.

A traditional Naga meal featuring black rice, boiled vegetables, bamboo shoot preparations, and a hearty chicken curry. The use of black rice is common in the region and has a unique nutty flavour.

The essential components of our thalis. You can see the different bowls containing dal, vegetable stir-fry, mashed potatoes (pitika), and spicy chutneys, all waiting to be assembled into a delicious meal.

About Our Famous Thalis

When you order one of our thalis, you are not just getting a meal—you are getting a spread prepared with ingredients like Raja Marcha (king chilli) and Axone, sourced directly from our home. We keep it simple: no heavy masalas or cream, just the natural flavours of mustard oil, ginger, and fresh meat, served exactly how we eat it back in our motherland.

A thali is the best way to get a full experience of our cuisine. We do not believe in mass-producing or pre-cooking, so everything from the Aloo Pitika to the main curry is prepared fresh in our Andheri kitchen.

The Regional Difference

  • Assamese Thali: Light, aromatic, and comforting. We pair our curries with Joha rice and the mandatory side of Aloo Pitika, which is mashed potatoes mixed with pungent mustard oil and chillies.
  • Naga Thali: For those who like it bold. This is where we bring in the strong, tangy notes of fermented Bamboo Shoot and the intense heat of our Raja Marcha chutney.
  • Manipuri Thali: Often features unique fermented sides like Ngari and traditional preparations that balance savory and earthy notes perfectly.

Why Our Ingredients Matter

We do not use store-bought substitutes. If a dish calls for Anishi or fermented soybeans, that is exactly what you get. These ingredients provide the depth and aroma that define Northeast Indian food. Because we source these directly, our supply is real and authentic.

Whether you are a seasoned lover of Northeast food or trying it for the first time, our thalis offer a complete, balanced plate. Come by, or order in, and experience the 'barkat'—the abundance and blessings—we pour into every bowl.

I started this place to share the food I grew up with, bringing the flavours of Assam, Nagaland, and Manipur to Mumbai. Every thali I serve is a piece of my home, cooked with the same love and fresh ingredients my family uses.
