Handmade Momos and Traditional Thukpa
We bring the real taste of Northeast India to Mumbai. Our momos are handmade daily, never frozen, and served with fiery Raja Marcha chutney.
The art of momo making, from rolling the thin dough to carefully pleating each one by hand. This is the care and effort that goes into every single momo we serve.
Our crunchy fried momos served with two special chutneys. One is a classic red chilli dip, and the other is a fiery Raja Marcha (Bhut Jolokia) chutney for those who like it extra spicy.
Our Chicken Chowmein, prepared Naga style. The noodles are stir-fried with tender chicken, fresh vegetables, and a blend of savoury sauces for a simple yet delicious meal.
Watch our freshly made momos being deep-fried in a large wok until they are perfectly golden brown and crispy on the outside, while remaining juicy inside.
For a spicy and tangy flavour, try our Schezwan Momos. Fried momos are tossed in a hot and savoury Schezwan sauce with onions and peppers.
About Handmade Momos & Noodles
We roll our momo dough fresh every single day, so you will never find a frozen batch here. Each piece is pleated by hand by our dai, and whether you choose the pork or chicken filling, you get that perfect juicy bite every time.
When you order our momos, expect a 15-20 minute wait because we start cooking only when you place the order. We keep the skin slightly thicker than standard factory-made options to hold the juices inside. Our pork momos are made with a 30:70 fat-to-meat ratio, which keeps them moist and flavourful without needing extra oil.
For the thukpa, we serve a large 400-500ml bowl that works as a hearty meal. It is light, brothy, and packed with veggies and noodles. If you want something crispy, we can deep fry them or toss them in a spicy Schezwan sauce with onions and peppers.
Do not forget to pair your meal with our Raja Marcha (Bhut Jolokia) chutney. It is extremely spicy, so start with a small amount. This is honest, comfort food served just the way we eat it back home in Assam, Nagaland, and Manipur.
The Taste of Northeast
I started this place to share the food I grew up eating in the Northeast. My kitchen is small but honest, and whether you are here for the handmade momos or a steaming bowl of thukpa, I just want you to feel at home.
