Yoga is a journey from noise to silence. In these sessions, we use ancient pranayama, meditation, and cultural storytelling to quiet the mind, release stress, and connect with your inner power.

A beautiful bhajan reminds us that all actions are a play of the divine Shakti. Our practice of yoga and meditation is a way to dissolve our ego and realize that "I am not the person, I am the power."

In my Mythology Meets Yoga series, we explore Garudasana (Eagle Pose). The story of Garuda teaches us that true power lies in devotion and surrender, not just physical strength.

We begin the Mythology Meets Yoga series with Natarajasana, the dance of Shiva. This pose is a story of cosmic rhythm, teaching us to find stillness in movement and balance in life's dance.

Just five minutes of mindful breathing can change your entire state of being. This short practice for stress relief combines gentle movement with Bhramari Pranayama to calm the nervous system.

For anxiety, stress, and sleepless nights, Bhramari Pranayama (Bee Breath) is a powerful tool. The gentle humming vibration calms the mind and soothes the soul.

Meditation is the journey from noise to silence. Here, our students in both the in-studio and online class practice together, finding a shared space of calm and tranquility.

During Navaratri, we honor the two sides of Shakti: the fierce Kalratri and the serene Maha Gauri. This pranayama and bandha practice symbolizes the dance of darkness and light within us all.

On Day 6 of Navaratri, we activate the Ajna Chakra (Third Eye) with Sirsasana (Headstand). This inversion brings clarity, focus, and connects us to our inner wisdom, honoring Maa Katyayani.

To awaken the Anahata or Heart Chakra, we practice deep backbends. This Navaratri practice, honoring Maa Kushmanda, helps us open our hearts to compassion and strength.

We activate the Manipura Chakra, our inner fire, with Nauli Kriya. This ancient cleansing technique, practiced on Day 3 of Navaratri, boosts digestion and ignites our willpower.

About Yoga for Inner Peace: Pranayama, Meditation & Philosophy

Meditation isn't about escaping reality; it is about finding the strength to handle it. In our sessions, we combine Bhramari pranayama and mindful breathing specifically to lower cortisol and calm the nervous system, helping you transition from a state of 'doing' to a state of 'being.'
